Why Buy Bobby Bottoms

Easy to use

Bobby Bottoms are designed to be easy to put on and take off your baby.  You don't have to worry about sharp pins and you don't have to deal with securing linings and covers separately.  You just snap the diaper on your baby and then snap it back off again.  You could say they are as easy as disposable, but don't forget the cleaning part.

Cleaning BB's is also a cinch.  After removing soiled diapers shake off, wipe off, or spray off any poopoos into the toilet and place diapers in a diaper pail (any container with a lid that closes).  Presoak diapers in warm water and 1 c. of vinegar before washing on regular cycle.   Dry diapers in the dryer, stuff pads back into the diaper and Walah!  BB's are ready to go once more.

Save money

The other day I checked the price of a jumbo box (96 pack) of Huggies diapers and it was $29.99.  That is $.31 per diaper.  The average disposable diaper per day rate at our house is 7 diapers.  Multiply .31 by 7 and that is $2.17 a day for diapers.  Multiply that by 365 and you get the annual cost of disposable diapers, which is $792.05 per year.  Now multiply the annual cost of $792.05 by how many years your child will be in diapers.  Let's just say you potty train your child at 2.75 years old.  Our grand total cost of disposable diapers for one child is...(drum roll please)...$2,178.14!

For a limited time Bobby Bottoms is offering a Jumbo Pack deal.  You can get a complete set of 25 BB's Original diapers for $400 and because Bobby Bottoms diapers fit babies 8-30 lbs your total cost of diapers for one child is only $400.  So when you buy the complete pack of Bobby Bottoms diapers you are saving $1,778.14.  Just imagine the savings when you use BB's for multiple children.  The $400 you invest in Bobby Bottoms will continue to save you money for years.

Cost of disposable diapers per child:.................$2,178.14
One time cost of Bobby Bottoms complete set:...$400.00
Savings:..................................................................$1,778.14

Save earth
Whether you have made the decision to cloth diaper because of monetary or environmental reasons, you can feel good about bobby bottoms because they help you save money and save earth.  My sister recently made the decision to cloth diaper because she realized that when her babies' are great grandparents their diapers will still be sitting in the landfill.  What better gift can you give your posterity than a clean, abundant, healthy earth.

We don't need to spend our money buying trash anymore.  Buy quality cloth diapers that are easy to use, easy on the wallet, and kind to the earth.

Care Instructions for Bobby Bottoms

The great thing about Bobby Bottoms is that they are machine washable.

After BB's become soiled shake off, spray off or wipe off the poopoo into the toilet
(BB's suede-cloth lining is easier to clean than most other diaper fabrics)
Sprayers can be purchased here

Roll the diaper up and snap the wings together to keep it shut

Put it in your diaper pail
(any container with a lid that is big enough to hold enough
soiled diapers to make it to your wash day)

Dump soiled diapers into the washer
For best results, soak diapers in washer in warm water
and 1 c. vinegar for a half hour before running a regular cycle
This will reduce the occurrence of stains and odors

The pads should come out of the diapers during the wash.
If not, simply remove them before putting them into the dryer.

Special Needs Bobby Bottoms

Now offering Bobby Bottoms for children with special needs.
*****Photos coming soon******

Many children might not outgrow the physical need for diapers,
but emotionally they are ready to be
out of "baby" diapers.

Bobby Bottom Special Needs Diapers are a great alternative to disposable "baby" diapers
They can be made with fashion fabrics on the outside for a fun new underwear
that the child can be proud of.

Please contact me to learn about how Bobby Bottoms
can be altered to fit older children.

Prices vary depending on the size of the diaper and extent of alterations

Welcome to Bobby Bottoms

Bobby Bottoms diapers are One-Size-Fits-All pocket* baby diapers that can be made in a range of colors
and styles so they are just right for your family.

BB's  have 3 layers

The Lining is the layer that touches babies skin.
The Original BB lining is made out of suede-cloth which is
a soft moisture-wicking fabric that is easy to clean.
BB linings can also be made out of bamboo velour
organic hemp and organic cotton fabrics,
but with an additional cost

The middle layer is an absorbent pad made of 5 layers

terry cloth
microfiber

terry cloth

Extra absorbent pads and organic cotton and bamboo pads
are available for additional cost

The Outer layer is made out of PUL (polyurethane laminate),
which is a knit fabric laminated on one side
I love this fabric for many reasons:
1. It is waterproof so my baby doesn't leek on me.
2. I can put the plastic side towards the inside of the diaper
so my baby doesn't crinkle
when she moves and it doesn't seem plastic-y
3. It is machine washable
4. There is large variety of color options

There is a Fourth optional layer.
BB's can be made with a super cute fabric to cover the PUL,
not that PUL isn't cute, but there are some way cute fabrics
that deserve to be wrapped around
your precious baby's bottom

Pricing
Original Bobby Bottom Diaper ~ $22
(includes one pad)

Organic Bobby Bottom Diaper ~ $25
(includes one pad)

Super Cute Bobby Bottom Diaper ~ $25
(includes one pad)

Individual Pad ~ $2

Super Absorbent Pad ~ $3

*Pocket diaper means there is an opening in the lining
that allows the pad to be taken in and out
I can make the BB's an All-in-One (AIO) free of charge,
but I prefer pocket diapers.  Here's why:

The pad can be taken out; it drys faster in the dryer which saves energy.

The diaper without the pad can be used
as a swim diaper

Two or more pads can be stuffed into the diaper
for overnight or travel.
